Our comprehensive Principles of Strength Development is an interactive, online educational course with weekly live lectures and tutorials through which attendees will develop mastery around strength movements. We invite you to join the 100s individuals who have attended Lifters League courses over the last 3 years by signing up for new and improved course.
Together you will spend 12 weeks with weekly live lectures and weekly inter-active tutorials. Outside of our public events; we regularly present this curriculum to fitness professionals, coaches and clinicians. Attendees from all professions and sports – and with differing goals - find incredible value in developing strength, resilience to injury, and gaining a better understanding of their own physiology and individual mechanics as it relates to movement and development of strength.
You will be introduced and take a deep dive into our principle-based global movement system as well as cover higher level physiology and biomechanics from a clinical, research-based perspective. Some of the topics covered include spinal mechanics, breathing function, foot strength, and principles behind the complex relationships of hip, spine, and shoulder function.
Each week you will be provided pre-reading material, a live lecture which you can watch back, take-away material to study, and weekly tutorials to go through individual drills, techniques, and answer questions. Attendees will have an opportunity to submit videos provide individual feedback and will use in our tutorials as a case study. We also will have a forum for further discussions. Don't look at this course as another online course but consider it a mentorship.
Our mission for this course is to provide you with the education and tools necessary to achieve your goals – whether you are an athlete, coach, clinician, or simply curious to learn and grown in your knowledge and abilities. Correct, safe movement is foundational to our function not just as athletes, but as human beings.
WHAT DOES THIS INCLUDE:
WEEKLY LIVE LECTURES
Every week we will have a new topic to cover and will be presented as live lectures on zoom. They will be recorded if you are unable to attend or want to rewatch them. You will be given pre-reading, slides, and homework.
We will have weekly collaborative sessions online to cover the content of the lecture in a more informal setting where you can ask questions, we will go over exercise and drills, and case studies from students.
A place to collaborate with other students in coaches on our learning and clarify more. You can use this platform to bring up case studies or give feedback on things for yourself.
We will have various types of assessments to ensure you are learning and a form of personalized feedback. This will be most important during our technique session as we would like to review every student lifting and present at our tutorials
